Laurentians take two on home field , blank Mount Pearl

Laurentians perform better when on grass

In their opening weekend of play on home grass, the only natural grass field used in Challenge Cup, Laurentians defeated Mount Pearl twice.  On Saturday St. Lawrence got shutout goal-tending from John Douglas and goals from Ryan Sheppard and Sean Drew as the Laurentians won 2-0. On Sunday, Douglas again blanked Mount Pearl by 3  0 score. Scoring for the Laurentians were, Rudy Norman, Evan Myles and Sean Drew.

Jake Warren - Thomas Pieroway - John Hawco

Holy Cross blanks Feildians
It appears Holy Cross are back to old form. They are undefeated thus far this season and again they blanked Feildians on Sunday. Leading goal scorer, Jake Warren scored his 4th and 5th of the season while Holy Cross captain, John Hawco netted his third. Thomas Pieroway recorded the shut-out.
