Feildians : 6 vs Corner Brook : 0

Chris Hart (4) - Jaylen McCurbin (14)
 Greg Reid (5) - Aaron Buckingham (20)

Feildians trounce Corner Brook
After Feildians suffered two loses this week against Holy Cross on Wednesday (3-2)  and Mount Pearl (2-1) on Saturday, Feildians made it quite clear on Sunday at  KGV that the Feildians wanted no part of these losing ways. The stage was set early as the referee gave the Feildians, Greg Reid, a 24th birthday gift at the 12 minute mark by awarding his team a penalty shot, Greg scored on the charity kick.  After this came the Aaron Buckingham show. This young man scored a natural hat-trick , the first of his career.  He scored at the 18, 23 and the 39 minute mark. Aaron's big 6'4" frame gave Corner Brook all they could handle. He out ran , out stretched and out muscled the Corner Brook defense for the entire first half.  The second half was more of just formality, although Greg Reid did have the opportunity on another penalty shot. Only this time he drove the ball somewhere out in Quidi Vidi Lake.  At the 83 minute mark Chris Hart scored his 1st of the season. One minute later Jaylen McCurbin scored a beauty as he hit one from 20 yards.
